Charitable objects

To advance the Christian faith for the benefit of the public by such means as the trustees from time to time decide.

We have been supporting our community by improving the living standards of individuals whilst reducing the rate of poverty. We provide detailed training and information that aids their employability skills and career development.

Charity is constituted and Trustees selection methods

This is a charity limited by guarantee and our trustees are nominated or appointed by existing trustees.

Policies and procedures adopted for the induction and training of trustees

Our policy for induction and training of Directors and trustees is to have induction training for all new directors and trustees at the inception of their service and for all directors and trustees to undergo training at least once a year.

Charity’s organisational structure

We are managed by board of directors of which some are also members of the trustees’ team. The mode of selection of the board is through nomination by existing trustees or election by a charity's members at AGF. Our activities are performed by trustees and volunteers, usually that have benefited from our projects.

Relationship with any related parties

We raise funds from organisations to support our activities through funding from organisations such as the Lottery community funds and individual giving.

Risk and procedure

Our projects include sharing of information between our candidates and the charity hence we have put in place policies such as Privacy and GDPR

Activities, Achievements, and performances

We provide the following services to our community: CV writing, Interview preparation, Career coaching and varying trainings including IT.

Through our social media platforms more than 300 people have had access to our trainings on CV review, Preparing for interview and introduction to IT jobs. Many of our candidates have successfully gained full time employment at prominent organisations since joining our training workshops.
